Kaizen Workshop
 

  • A kaizen workshop is a short duration event commonly lasting three to five days in which a team is assembled and chartered to improve a process.

  • This workshop cycle consists of preparation, workshop, and follow-up.

  • We lead the team in identifying wasteful and cumbersome practices, standardizing and documenting processes, identifying, and implementing improvements for that process.

  • While commonly applied to manufacturing, this approach has been adopted in repair, healthcare, and administrative/transactional environments like banking, engineering, and human resources.

Value Stream Mapping + Analysis
 

  • A high-level mapping and analysis workshop typically lasting three days in which a cross-functional team, usually senior management, is chartered to improve a larger scope with multiple processes.

  • This workshop cycle consists of preparation, workshop, and follow-up.

  • The objective of this workshop is to identify a series of kaizen workshops and action items that will improve the value stream.

Strategic Planning
 

  • A session, typically lasting two to three days, in which we guide executive leadership through a series of visioning exercises to develop your organizational Strategic Roadmap: values, succinct mission statement, vision for the future, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), strategic goals, and tactical actions.

  • Our approach ensures goals and KPIs are aligned to your organization’s values. We ensure that KPIs drive the behaviors of unity while delivering value to customers and stakeholders.

  • Our approach integrates a Change Management Model into the Strategic Roadmap vice creating a separate change management plan.

  • Most organizations create a separate change management plan as a separate activity and usually as an afterthought.

  • With Sagacity Systems we integrate the change management steps as part of the action items. What gets measured are your organization’s transformational behaviors; we emphasize value metrics vice process measures.

Lean Yellow Belt Training​

 

In this basic introduction to Lean, participants will be introduced to the principles of Lean Thinking, Lean tools and practices, and related methodologies for continuous process improvement (CPI). We’ll introduce basic concepts of Six Sigma. The objectives of the course are:

  • Learn Charter development using Problem Definition and Business Case statements

  • Personally experience the power of Lean principles and tools through hands-on activities

  • Gain an understanding of DMAIC model

Lean Green Belt Training​

 

Green Belt Training is designed to equip future Lean Six Sigma practitioners with the skills and information needed to plan, facilitate, and follow-up from a Kaizen Workshop. The course covers in detail the Lean concepts, the Kaizen Workshop agenda, and tools used in an Kaizen Workshop. The course also covers the basic DMAIC tools for conducting a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt project. The objectives of the course are:

  • Learn how Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints concepts apply in the CPI environment

  • Gain an understanding of the Green Belt’s role in the planning, execution, and follow-up of a Kaizen Event

  • Learn about the tools and exercises used in an Kaizen event with emphasis on Value Stream Analysis, Process Mapping, and 5S workplace organization

  • Practice applying the Lean Six Sigma concepts and tools
